The Dogon are a tribal ethnic group from Mali. Simple and practical in design, the Dogon stairs are made of one- piece of wood that is carved by hand. An important feature is the "Y" shape at the top, which flattens slightly at the top for greater proportional stability and also to be able to support itself on uneven surfaces of logs and rocks.
